  Description: Erect shrubs, stem reddish, grey-tomentose. Leaves simple, alternate, 7-10 x 3-5 cm, elliptic, acute at both ends, serrate, scabrous above, pubescent beneath, nerves 6-8 pairs, regular; petiole 1-2 cm long. Heads 6 x 4 mm, globose; bracts oblong, acute, grey tomentose. Flowers few, corolla 12 mm long, glabrous. Achenes 2 mm long, glandular; pappus all setaceous, brown.
