Description:
Shrubs, up to 1.5 m tall, profusely branching above middle of main stem; branches terete, pubescent when young, glabrescent with maturity. Leaves alternate, 5-foliolate, rarely 3-foliolate, 10-18 cm long; rachis 6.5-9 cm long including 2-3.2 cm long petiole; interjugal parts 1.5- 2 cm long, sulcate above, glabrescent; leaflets (3) 5 pairs, smaller towards base, 2-5.7 x 0.6-1.3 cm, ovate-elliptic to lanceolate, acute at apex, pubescent above and below, venation inconspicuous; stipules linear-lanceolate, pubescent; glands between all leaflet pairs except between terminal pair, ovate-conical, 1.5 x 0.5 mm, sessile, pubescent petiolules pubescent. Corymbs axillary and terminal; peduncles 3-7 cm long, densely pubescent; bracts 6-9 x 1.5 mm, elliptic-lanceolate, densely pubescent. Sepals unequal, 5-11 x 4-6 mm, ovate to elliptic, obtuse at apex, pubescent. Petals 15- 20 x 7-10 mm, yellow. Fertile stamens 7; 2 longest anthers 7-8 x 1.5 mm, filaments 10 mm long; others 4-5 x 1 mm, filaments 3-4 mm long. Pistil 13-15 mm long, incurved, glabrous; stipe 2 mm long, pubescent; ovary 8 x 2 mm, 10 to 12-ovuled; style ca5 mm long. Pods 7.5-9.5 x 0.6-0.9 cm, oblong, acuminate at apex with style remain, sub- compressed, thickened on both sutures, pubescent; seeds 4 to 10, 5.5 x 3.5 x 2 mm, spermoderm with linear markings, hilum 0.5 mm long.
