Description:
Climbing shrubs; stems ridged, zig-zag, glabrous. Leaves 5-10 x 2-4 cm, ovate, hastate at base, acute at apex, serrate, decurrent and auricled at the base of the petiole. Heads 7 x 5 mm, many, in axillary panicle with zig-zag branches; bracts 5 x 1.5 mm, oblong, similar. Female flowers peripheral; corolla 7 mm long, limb 3-lobed, yellow. Bisexual flowers central; corolla 4 mm long, tubular. Achenes ribbed, hairy between the ribs; pappus white, 3-4 mm long.
