Description:
Scandent shrubs, branchlets lenticellate. Leaves simple, opposite, 10-20 x 7-9 cm, oblong, obtuse at base and apex, faintly crenate; nerves 11-13 pairs, distinct below. Flowers pinkish yellow, 3-9 together; pedicels 1 cm long, slender; sepals 1.5 mm long, triangular; petals 2.5 x 1.5 mm, ovate, acute, glabrous, yellow with white margins; filaments 0.5 mm long, curved. Fruit berry, red to orange in colour, pericarp wrinkled, seeds 5-6, brown.
