Description:
Lianas; the stems herbaceous at the tips, woody at the base, grayish tomentellous throughout. Leaves ovate, 4-9 cm long, cordate basally, obtuse, acute, acuminate or shortly cuspidate apically, pubescent on both surfaces but more densely below. Inflorescences lateral or terminal, paniculate. Flowers usually on pedicels 1-2 mm long; sepals linear, 1-1.5 mm long, densely tomentellous; corolla white, funnelform, 5-6 mm long. Fruits indehiscent, ovoid-globular, 5-6 mm long, the outer 3 sepals enlarged in fruit, wing-like; seeds ovoid, brown.
