Description:
Large shrubs. Leaves to 12.5 x 5.5 cm, ovate, oblong, abruptly acuminate; nerves 6-8 pairs, prominent, nervules parallel, forked; petiole 1 cm long; stipule 6 mm long, villous. Cymes 2-3 cm across, dichotomous; peduncle 2 cm long. Flowers 8-10 mm long, sessile; calyx 4 mm long, lobes 4, lanceolate; corolla tube campanulate, villous; ovary 4-celled; style 4 mm long. Berry 6 x 6 mm, obovoid, glabrous.
