Description:
Fleshy herbs, sap watery; stem hollow. Upper leaves simple, lower pinnatifid, to 10 cm, lobes to 4 x 0.5 cm, oblong, coarsely dentate, puberulus. Cymes corymbose, axillary and terminal; flowers yellow; bracts 0.8 cm, linear; calyx 4 lobed to the base, 7 x 1.5 mm, lanceolate, glandular pubescent; corolla tube 7 mm, lobes 4, 4 x 2 mm, lanceolate, acuminate, twisted, glandular pubescent; stamens 8, in two rows at the throat of the corolla tube; carpels 4, 4 x 1.5 mm, style 2.5 mm, hypogynous scales 4, subulate. Follicle 8 x 4 mm.
