Description:
Trailing, branched, slender annual or perennial herbs with woody rootstock, sparsely grey-pubescent. Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets 5-9, subsessile, 3-8 x 2-4 mm, oblong-obovate, apex obtuse to emarginate, base cuneate, appressed pubescent on both surfaces; stipules c. 3 mm long, ovate, cuspidate, scarious. Flowers 3-4.5 mm long, in 10-15-flowered axillary subcapitate racemes, 1-1.5 cm long; bracts c. 2 mm long, deltoid, hyaline. Calyx-tube c.1 mm long; lobes 2-3 mm long, setaceous. Petals exserted, red; standard obovate; wings and keels oblong. Staminal sheath to 3 mm; style apically incurved. Pods 3-4 x 1.5-2.5 mm, oblong-cylindrical or subglobose, adpressed hairy; seeds 2.
