Description:
Subshrubs, stem hirsute. Leaves 15-20 x 10-12 cm, broadly elliptic, apex acuminate, base acute. Cymes axillary, panicled, hirsute; bracts and bracteoles similar, 2 mm long, ovate. Flowers many, densely packed; sepals 5 mm long, glandular hairy; corolla greenish white, 15 mm long, tube 10 mm long, narrow, lobes obtuse, hispid; anthers unequal, glabrous. Capsule 16 x 2 mm, oblong, acute, hirsute; seeds many, orbicular, golden brown.
