  Description: Stragging lianas, to 6 m; branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, pinnate, to 15 cm; leaflets 3, oblong-lanceolate, 4.5-9 x 2-4 cm, glabrous, base obtuse, margin entire, apex acuminate; petiole to 10 cm; petiolule to 5 mm. Racemes to 12 cm; pedicel to 4 mm, not clustered. Flowers rose, 1 cm across. Calyx-tube 4 mm, glabrous; lobes minute. Petals rose; standard orbicular, 1.2 x 0.9 cm; wings 1.2 x 0.2 cm; keels 1 x 0.4 cm. Staminal sheath 8 mm; filaments to 4 mm; anthers 0.5 mm. Ovary 4 mm; ovules ca. 8; style 6 mm. Pod ovoid or orbicular, base and apex obtuse, glabrous, winged; seed(s) 1 or 2.
