  Description: Prostrate hairy herbs, 30-50 cm long; branches terete. Leaves alternate, simple, bifarius, 1-2 x 0.7-1.5 cm, ovate-oblong or suborbicular, oblique and cordate at base, obtuse and mucronulate at apex, silky hairy on both surfaces, margins ciliate; lateral nerves 2-3 pairs; stipule absent; petioles more than 1 mm long. Racemes leaf-opposed 1.3-2.0 cm long; peduncles terete, forked near the apex, villous. Flowers 1-2, 5-8 x 3-5 mm; pedicels 2-5 mm long; bracts 2, setaceous or filiform, 1-2 mm long; bracteoles filiform, 1 mm long just below the calyx. Calyx 5-cleft to more than half of its length, tube 2 mm long, 2-lipped, lobes 5 mm long, upper lip 2-lobed, linear-lanceolate, acuminate at apex, lower lip 3-lobed, linear, densely silky hairy. Petals yellow, scarcely exserted; standard ovate-oblong, 6 x 4 mm, prominently veined with short claw; wing petals oblong, 5 x 3 mm, with curved claw; keel petals gibbous with short twisted beak, ca 5 x 3 . Stamens dimorphic, longer anthers oblong, ca 1 mm long and shorter anthers rotundate, ca 0.25 mm long. Ovary ovate-oblong, 1-2 mm long, hairy; style 4-5 mm long; stigma subglobose. Pods shortly stalked, subglobose, ca 1 x 1 cm, hirsute, pericarp membranous; seeds 12-18, reniform, 2.0-2.5 mm, smooth, olive-green, darker near micropyle, deeply curved on the back, compressed.
