Description:
Climbing shrubs, tomentose. Leaves 3-5 foliolate, leaflets 6 x 4 cm, ovate, acuminate, densely tomentose, crenate or lobed with spiny protuberance, base cordate; petiole to 3 cm, twinning. Panicles axillary or terminal, peduncles to 2.5 cm; sepals 4, yellow-brown, 18 x 12 mm, ovate, glabrous inside; stamens numerous, filaments pubescent below; carpels many; stigma pilose. Achenes in globose heads, pubescent.
