Description:
Succulent herbs; branchlets ascending. Leaves decussate, oblong to obovate, to 5 x 2.5 cm, base cuneate, margin irregularly dentate towards the rounded apex, glaucous blue, subsucculent; petiole 0.5 cm. Inflorescence terminal, consisting of cymes, diffuse. Flowers pendulous, 2.5 x 1 cm; pedicel to 1.5 cm. Calyx-tube 1.5 x 1 cm, lobed above to the middle; lobes 4, ovate, 0.6 x 0.4 cm. Corolla campanulate, to 2 x 1 cm, purple-red; lobes obovate, 6 mm. Stamens 8, exceeding corolla; filaments inserted below the middle of corolla-tube.
