  Description: Twiners, stem glabrous. Leaves simple, alternate, 13-18 x 8-10 cm, ovate, apex acuminate, deeply cordate, base 5-7 ribbed, glabrous; petiole 4-5 cm long. Flowers 6.5 cm long, in axillary raceme; bracts 5 mm long, ovate. Perianth tube 1 cm long, hairy inside, glabrous outside; limb 4.5 cm long, 1 cm broad, brown, tomentose. Stamens 12, biseriate; connective broad; anthers oblong. Ovary 6-celled; ovules numerous; style 6-7-fid, short. Capsule obovoid, transversely rugose, stalked, 6-celled; seeds deltoid.
