Description:
Corms to 3.5 across. Leaf subpedatisect, lobes 5-7, to 15 x 5 cm, obovate, to oblong, acuminate, glabrous; petiole to 85 cm long, c. 10 mm thick. Peduncle to 60 cm long; spathe to 20 cm, ovate to lanceolate-acuminate at apex, green at base and purplish above; spadix with long, pendulous, appendix to 30 cm long, dark purple; staminate flowers in scattered groups of 4-6, anthers stalked; pistillate flowers at base, ovary ovoid, style short, conical, stigma capitate; neuters few or usually absent.
