  Description: Bulbs depressed-globose, to 6 cm wide; outer tunic membranous. Shoots to 75 cm. Stem hollow, inflated below. Leaves c. 10, flattened, sheathing below, to 40 x 2 cm. Spathes 3, shorter than umbel. Umbels to 7 cm wide, subtended by 2 or 3 reflexed bracts; pedicel to 4 cm. Tepals lilac or white, to 4.5 x 2.5 mm. Stamens 4-6 mm, exserted.
