  Description: Subshrubs, to 1.5 m high; stems ribbed, pectinate-hairy. Leaves to 10 x 5 cm, elliptic, acute at base and apex, serrate, pectinate-hairy below, nerves 5-6 pairs, reticulate. Heads 15 x 13 mm, globose, in terminal loose corymbose cymes, long-peduncled; bracts 7-9 x 2 mm, outer deflexed; corolla 10 mm long, pale pink. Achenes glabrous; outer pappus setaceous, 6-9 mm long, white.
