  Description: Climbers, branchlets terete, armed with prickles. Leaves simple, alternate, 10-15 x 8-13 cm, broadly ovate, apex obtuse, cuspidate, base cordate, 5-ribbed; petiole 1-3 cm long, sheath narrow, flagellate. Peduncle to 10 cm long; umbels alternate, 2 or 3. Flowers many; pedicels 1.5 cm long, 2 cm in fruit. Perianth 6-partite, free, greenish-yellow. Berry 7 x 7 mm, globose.
