  Description: Diffuse or prostrate much branched herbs; branchlets with elongate, spreading, pilose hairs. Leaves 0.8-2.5 x 0.5-1 cm, broadly oblong or elliptic-oblong, base subcordate, apex obtuse or rounded, mucronate, glabrous or sparsely hairy; petiole 3-6 mm long; stipules 3-5 mm long, lanceolate, striate. Flowers close in axillary racemes; pedicel to 2 mm long. Calyx-tube longer than the first joint of the pod; lobes lanceolate, ciliate. Corolla pink to violet; standard to 5 x 2 mm; wings to 4 x 2 mm; keels to 6 mm long. Pods 3-7-jointed, 1.2-2 cm long, moniliform, turgid, with hooked hairs.
