Description:
Scandent herb; branchlets rusty, hairs reflexed. Leaves 3-foliolate; petiole to 8 cm; leaflets ovate-acuminate, to 8 x 5 cm, rusty villous, middle one deltoid; petiolule 1 cm; stipels subulate; stipules peltate, oblong, to 1.5 cm. Racemes axillary; peduncle to 20 cm, stout; rachis 6 cm, nodose; bracts and bracteoles oblong, hirsute, 6 mm. Calyx campanulate, 5 mm, upper 2 lobes subconnate. Corolla exserted, to 1.5 cm, yellow. Standard broad, 1.5 x 2 cm, base auriculate; wings broad, obtuse, 1.2 x 1 cm, base semi-sagittate; keels curved, rostrate, 1.5 x 0.6 cm, base clawed. Ovary villous; style subapically hairy. Pod densely villous, to 6 cm, glabrescent; seeds 8-10, to 3 mm.
