Description:
Shrubs; branches sparse, grey wooly-tomentose. Leaves 12-20 x 3-4 cm, lanceolate, acute at apex and base, unequally serrate-toothed, densely golden tomentose beneath, glabrous above. Cymes to 15 x 15 cm, terminal, corymbose; branches densely velvet-tomentose. Heads 9 x 5 mm, peduncled; bracts 5 x 2 mm, oblong, acuminate; outer bracts narrower, smaller, hairy. Flowers to 20, similar; corolla 7-8 mm long, lobes oblong, obtuse, glabrous. Achenes 2.5 mm long, 4-angled, glandular, outer pappus scaly, fimbriate; inner pappus to 10 mm long, setaceous, dull yellow.
