Description:
Woody climbers; young shoots tomentose. Leaves simple, alternate, 15 x 5 cm, narrowly elliptic or oblong, apex acute or acuminate, base obtuse or rounded, glabrous. Flowers solitary. Pedicels and calyx tuberculate, ferrugineus-tomentose. Petals dull-purple with yellow at base, elliptic or ovate, connate at base, tomentose on both sides. Fruitlets long-stipitate.
