Description:
Glabrous twiners. Leaves to 5 x 1.5 cm, oblong-lanceolate, apiculate, rounded at base, nerves 4 pairs, very slender; petiole 0.5 cm long. Umbels in branched racemes, up to 4 cm long; peduncle 1.5 cm long, slender. Flowers brownish, 3 mm across, 3-7 together, in lateral umbellate cluster; pedicels to 8 mm long; sepals subulate, glabrous; corolla yellowish brown, lobes 4, ovate, acute; gynostegium 0.6 x 1 mm; corona process globose. Follicle 4 cm long, ovoid, glabrous, narrowed into a short beak.
