Description:
Large shrubs, branches terete, glabrous. Leaves to 10 x 6 cm, broadly elliptic, acuminate to base and apex, lateral nerves 11-12 pairs. Spikes 7 x 0.7 cm, in axillary panicles; bracts 7 x 3 mm, glandular-hairy; bracteoles minute. Flowers scattered; calyx 8 mm long, lobes, subulate, glabrous; corolla 1.5-2 cm long, glabrous, pale blue; staminal filaments ciliate; style hairy.
