Description:
Unarmed spreading shrubs, 1-2.5 m high; branches sparsely white stellate-pubescent. Leaves alternate, 6.5-14 x 2.5 cm, elliptic-lanceolate, repand-sinuate, glabrescent above, sparsely stellate-pubescent beneath, acute or shortly acuminate at apex, acute or narrowed at base. Flowers white in extra-axillary pedunculate racemose cymes. Calyx lobes linear-lanceolate, acuminate, stellate pubescent, 3-4 mm long, recurved. Berries 0.6-0.7 cm in diameter, globose, red when ripe; seeds flat, 3-4 nn long, slightly scaly.
