Description:
Herbs. Leaves unequal-paired, entire, elliptic to oblong, sometimes broadly, 3-12 x 1.5-8 cm, apex rounded, base attenuate, decurrent on petiole and stem; petiole terete, 0.8-9 mm long, winged by leaf bases. Cymes axillary, peduncle unbranched, later with conspicuous pedicel scars, 3.5-8 mm long. Calyx constricted at base and just below lobes, lobes 5, glabrous, 0.7-1.6 x 0.7-1.1 mm, minutely ciliolate. Corolla white, lobes 5, glabrous, 2.3-5 x 1.5-2.3 mm. Stamens 5, filament glabrous, 0.4-0.5 mm long; anther glabrous, 1.2-1.8 mm long, 0.7-1 mm wide. Ovary glabrous, style glabrous, 1.8-3 mm long. Fruit orange, glabrous, 3-10 mm long, 3.4-9 acorss; sepal persistent, upward; pedicel 2-13 mm long; seeds yellow or tan, reniform-discoid, 2-3 mm across, margins thickened.
