Description:
Prostrate trailing herbs, simple or much branched. Leaves paripinnate, to 2.5 cm long; leaflets 4-12 x 2-4 mm, linear-oblong, apex obtuse, bristly-ciliate along the margins and midrib on lower surface; rachis ending in a bristle; stipules c. 5 mm long. Flowers yellow in axillary 1-6-flowered capitate racemes; peduncle to 1 cm long. Calyx to 1 cm long, equally 2-lipped, 5-7 mm long, scarious, with close, parallel nerves. Corolla 7-9 mm long; petals clawed; standard to 7-9 mm, ovate; keels incurved, to 5x3 mm, apex obtuse. Stamens 5+5; anthers reniform. Ovary to 3 mm; style filiform; stigma simple. Fruit a lomentum, enclosed in calyx, 4-6-articulate; articles minutely papillose.
