Description:
Climbing herbs, pubescent. Terminal leaflets to 8 x 7.5 cm, laterals to 7.5 x 6 cm, rhomboid-elliptic, unequally ovate, acuminate, hirsute; petiole to 8 cm, petiolule 3 mm, stipules 8 mm, ovate-lanceolate, pubescent. Racemes axillary, to 20 cm, pubescent; flowers reddish-yellow; pedicels 3 mm; calyx tube 3 mm, upper two connate, lobes 2 mm, triangular, hirsute, lower 6 mm; standard petal 1.5 x 1 cm, orbicular, clawed, pubescent, emarginate; wings 1 x 0.4 cm, appendaged; keel united; staminal tube 8 mm; anthers 1 mm, unequal; ovary 5 mm, pubescent, style 9 mm, basally hairy, stigma oblique. Pod acute at apex, with persistent style; seeds 2.
