Description:
Annual or perennial herbs, pubescent. Leaves radical and cauline, base sheathing, lamina 6-7 x 5-6 cm, ovate, cordate at base, pubescent margins broadly crenate; petiole up to 6 cm. Flowers solitary or panicled, pedicels to 10 cm; sepals 5, imbricate, 8 x 5 mm, obovate, hairy outside; petals 10, in two rows, 8 x 6 mm, obovate, yellow, with a nectary at base; stamens numerous, lower up to 5 mm; carpels numerous, style curved, 1 mm. Achenes in heads, 2 mm long, beaked.
