Description:
Erect herbs. Leaves 0.5-2.5 x 0.2-0.4 cm, linear-lanceolate, apiculate, bracts persistent. Racemes axillary, to 7 cm long, usually drooping, glabrous; flowers yellow; sepals persistent. Capsule slightly winged, 5 x 4 mm, caruncle cup shaped, 3 appendaged above; seeds hairy.
