Description:
Erect shrubs; stem covered with deflexed hairs. Leaves to 7 x 5 cm, ovate, rounded at base, irregularly crenate, strigose; nerves 5-pairs. Spikes 10 cm long, solitary terminal; rachis reflexed hairy; bracts and bracteoles minute, linear. Flowers many, perpendicular to the axis or deflexed; calyx 6 mm long, lobes acute to acuminate, strigose along the nerves outside; corolla yellow to white, 11 mm long, lobes obtuse, hairy; filaments hairy at extreme base; ovary densely glandular.
