Description:
Erect shrubs. Leaves opposite, 5-9 x 4-8 cm, broadly ovate, acuminate at apex, round to cordate at base, glabrous on both sides, white warted on petioles and main nerves; venation prominent below; margins dentate. Inflorescence terminal panicles. Flowers 1-1.2 cm across on opening. Calyx 0.1-0.15 cm long. Corolla purple; tube 0.5-0.6 cm long, broadly dilated at throat, slender at base, 2-lipped; upper lip ca 0.4 cm long, 4-lobed; lower 0.5-0.6 cm long, boat-shaped, entire.
