Description:
Erect, annual herb; branchlets viscid, villous. Leaves alternate, lanceolate, to 5 x 1.5 cm, membranous, sessile, base obtuse, apex acute. Cymes terminal or in upper axils, leafy; peduncle to 2.5 cm; pedicel to 1 cm. Calyx tubular; lobes 5-7, narrow, recurved in fruit. Corolla salver-form, rose or white; tube 1 cm, villous outside, longer than calyx; lobes 5, imbricate. Stamens 5, included, subequal. Ovary 3-celled; ovule 1 per cell. Capsule 3-valved, globose; seeds 3.
