Description:
Decumbent, bulbous, succulent herbs with fibrous roots; branchlets reddish, rooting at nodes. Leaves alternate, 3-foliolate, petioles to 7.5 cm; leaflets 3, subequal, 1.5-2 x 1.2-2 cm; median one obcordate, larger; laterals oblique; peduncle solitary, to 14 cm, arising from the upper half of branchlets. Cymes terminal, varying from pseudo-umbel to pseudo-raceme, 6-12 flowered. Flowers yellow, 7 mm wide; pedicel 8 mm. Sepals 5, elliptic-acute, 5 x 2 mm, pink-tipped. Petals 5, obcordate, 7 x 3 mm, red-veined outside. Stamens 5 + 5; filaments 4 mm and 2 mm. Ovary conical, styles 5; stigma 10-rayed.
