Description:
Erect subshrubs; branchlets tomentose. Leaves to 12 x 5 cm, elliptic, apex acute to acuminate, base cuneate, glaucous beneath; petiole to 3 cm, sparsely pubescent, stipules 0.8 cm, ovate, acuminate. Cymes axillary and terminal; flowers white; calyx 2 mm, truncate, lobes 3 mm, subulate; corolla tube 2 cm, funnel shaped, villous outside; disc of 2 large lobes, 1 x 1.5 mm broad; ovary 2 mm, style 1.5 cm, stigmas 2, linear. Capsule ciliate, with persistent disc lobes.
