Description:
Large shrub to small trees; branchlets pubescent. Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets opposite and subopposite, to 4.5 x 1.5 cm, elliptic, apex emarginate, base cuneate, silvery pubescent below; petiolule 2 mm, stipule 2 mm. Flowers fascicled, in pseudo-racemes, violet, pedicels 2 cm; calyx tube 5 mm, campanulate, pubescent, lobes 2 mm, triangular, upper connate; standard petal 2.5 x 1.5 cm, obovate; staminal tube 2 cm long, filaments 3 cm, alternate ones dilated at the base; ovary 2 cm, pubescent. Pod linear, pubescent, acute at apex.
