Description:
Large twining shrubs, stem minutely hispid. Leaflets 7 x 3.5 cm, ovate, acute at base and apex, nerves 3 pairs; petiole 3-4 cm long. Flowers in stout axillary drooping panicles. Pods to 10 x 5 cm, broadly oblong, woody, transversely obliquely ridged, covered with reddish bristles; seeds reddish, polished.
