Description:
Large shrubs; branchlets reddish-brown. Leaves simple, opposite, 7-10 x 3-5 cm, elliptic, apex obtusely acuminate, margins folding, green or yellow when dried; petiole to 8 mm long, yellow. Flowers 3 mm across, few in axillary clusters.sSpals ovate, obtuse. Petals 2 x 1 mm, ovate, obtuse, white, glabrous. Capsule to 13 x 8 mm, brown, aril red.
