Description:
Erect shrubs, branchlets rusty tomentose. Leaves to 13 x 4.5 cm, oblanceolate, acuminate at apex, acute at base, distantly serrate, glandular; nerves 9 pairs, prominent, nervules closely parallel; petioles unequal, 0.3-1.8 cm long. Male racemes 1-4 cm long, rusty tomentose; flowers 3 mm across, closely packed, tomentose. Capsule 15 mm across, covered with curved spines and yellow glands; seeds 5 mm across, globose, dull brown.
