Description:
Large trees. Leaves simple, alternate, to 11 x 4 cm, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, cuneate at base, coriaceous, reddish brown beneath, tomentose, later becomes glabrous; nerves ca. 8 pairs, transverse nervules faint, margins thick; petiole to 2 cm. Racemes axillary, to 7 cm; umbellules 8 mm across, globose, ferrugineus, tomentose.
