Description:
Erect shrubs. Leaves odd-pinnate, to 12 cm long; leaflets usually 11, opposite, elliptic, 1.5-4 by 0.7-2 cm, base and apex rounded, mucronulate, appressed hairy, membranous. Racemes to 12 cm long, axillary. Flowers many, lax, about 6 mm long; calyx 5-toothed; corolla scarlet coloured, appressed pubescent without; ovary linear. Pods slender, c. 4 cm long, curved, constricted between seeds.
