  Description: Shrubs. Leaves simple, alternate, 2-4 x 1-2 cm, oblong to spathulate, apex obtuse to retuse, margin serrate to dentate; lateral nerves ca. 4 pairs; petiole to 3 mm. Spikes to 1 cm long. Male 4 mm across: tepals 3, glabrescent, 2.5 mm; anthers 0.2 mm. Female flowers 3 mm aross: tepals 6-8, linear, 2 mm, acute; ovary 3-lobed; styles 3 mm, recurved, Capsule ca. 3.5 mm across.
