Description:
Twining subshrubs, branchlets puberulent. Leaves opposite, to 14 x 12 cm, broadly ovate, acute, base cordate on the main stem, ovate-lanceolate with acute base on branches, puberulent above and glabrous below, subcoriaceous; petiole to 3 cm long. Flowers Calyx lobe ovate, obtuse, 2 mm long. Corolla 8-12 mm long, ovoid-urceolate or tubular, lobes deltoid, pale-pink; corona cupular, scales longer than the gynostegium proper.
