  Description: Herbs or undershrubs, to 1 m high; stem 4-angled. Leaves opposite, 1.5-3 x 0.6-1.5 cm, acute to slightly acuminate at apex, attenuate at base, whitish below on drying; stipules broadly ovate, 0.4-0.5 x 0.3-0.35 cm, pectinate on margins, densely cottony-hairy without. Flowers in axillary cymes; pedicels 0.3-0.4 cm long. Calyx tube 0.1-0.15 cm; lobes 0.1 cm, ovate acuminate. Corolla white; tube 0.1-0.15 cm long, widened at mouth, hairy within tube; lobes 0.3-0.35 cm, ovate lanceolate, hairy within. Capsule 0.2-0.25 cm, ovoid, septicidal; seeds many, minute.
