  Description: Erect sparingly branched, subshrubs; stems 4-angled, glabrous. Leaves to 6.5 x 3 cm, ovate, lanceolate, acute at either ends, glabrous; nerves 4 pairs, oblique, strong below; subsessile; stipule 6 mm long, pectinate. Cymes terminal, corymbose, to 9 cm across. Flowers to 10 mm long, sessile; calyx 4 mm long, lobes acute, densely puberulus; corolla tube 8 mm long, densely villous within, puberulus outside, lobes 2.5 x 1 mm, oblong, obtuse, pink; anthers 2.2 mm long, erect; style 5 mm long. Capsule 6 x 3 mm, oblong, densely puberulus, ridged; seeds angled, light brown.
