Description:
Shrubs. Leaves opposite, 4-12 x 1.5-3.5 cm, acuminate at apex, attenuate at base; nerves 4-5 pairs, prominent below. Stipules broad, ovate 0.3-0.5 cm, pectinate on margins, teeth tipped with black glands. Peduncles 0.1-0.2 cm long or 0. Pedicels slender, 0.3-0.4 cm long. Calyx tube 0.1-0.15 cm, widened at top; lobes 0.2-0.25 cm long, linear lanceolate. Corolla white; tube 0.25-0.3 cm long; lobes 0.15-0.2 cm long, densely hairy at throat. Style exserted, stigma papillate. Capsules ovoid, 0.25-0.3 x 0.15- 0.2 cm, dehiscing septicidally; seeds minute.
