Description:
Large woody twining shrubs, yellowish-brown pubescent. Leaves opposite, 4-7 x 3-4.5 cm, ovate to ovate lanceolate, acute to slightly acuminate at apex, round to slightly cordate at base; lateral nerves 3-4 pairs. Flowers in axillary and lateral umbellate cymes; peduncle 0.5-0.8 cm long; pedicels slender, 0.2-0.4 cm long. Calyx 1 mm long; lobes 5, ovate, pubescent without. Corolla yellow,2-2.5 mm across; lobes 5. Corona 1 m long; lobes thick. Anthers 5, erect. Carpels 2, apocarpous; ovules many; styles free; stigma united, capitate. Follicles oblong-lanceolate, 5-7 cm long, 0.7 cm wide at base, tip pointed; seeds ovate, 0.2 cm long with silky coma at apex.
