Description:
Shrubs; branchlets slender terete, yellow. Leaves to 9 x 3.5 cm, elliptic, acuminate with sharp tip at apex, attenuate to the base, serrate, entire towards the base; nerves 4 or 5 pairs slender; petiole 7 mm long. Capsule 1.5 x 2 cm, obcordate, deep red; seeds 10 x 6 mm, oblong, dark reddish-brown, smooth.
