  Description: Large woody climbers; young branches, leaves and inflorescence densely rusty tomentose. Leaves 4-8 x 2-5 cm, broadly elliptic or elliptic-obovate, base rounded, apex obtusely acuminate, coriaceous; lateral veins 5-6 pairs; petioles to 1 cm long. Inflorescence axillary and terminal panicled cymes. Flowers 6-8 mm across, fragrant. Calyx tube 1.5-2 mm long; lobes 5, ovate, obtuse, densely-brown tomentose. Corolla creamy-white, campanulate-rotate; tube1-1.5 mm long, villous without; lobes 5, 2.5-3 mm long, each deeply 2-fid and seemingly 10. Stamens 10, exerted. Ovary 1-celled, ovules 4; style absent; stigma subglobose. Berry 6-8 x 3-3.5 mm, ovoid or ellipsoid. Seed 1.
