  Description: Small trees. Leaves simple, alternate, 6-10 x 3-4 cm, elliptic, apex acuminate, base cuneate, thin coriaceous, glabrous; lateral nerves 5-7 pairs; petiole c. 2 cm long. Flowers 2.5-3 mm across, in axillary and terminal unilateral corymbose cymes. Calyx minute, 5-toothed. Corolla white, c. 2.5 mm long, lobes 5, oblong, obtuse. Stamens 5, exserted. Ovary minute, 2-celled; ovules 2 in each cell; style 2-fid above middle. Drupe 4-5 mm across, subglobose, red; seeds 4.
